A recent incident has occured in the US, where burglars managed to commit a massive theft from the Apple store inside of a mall in Lynnwood, Washington State. Worth over $500,000, the thieves got away with more than 400 electronics items, including iPhones, iPads, and watches.
The robbery was so well planned that the burglars managed to make entry by cutting through the bathroom wall of the neighbouring espresso machine store. Police have reported that there were 436 iPhones taken from the back and that the value of the items stolen adds up to approximately $500,000, with items such as iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that unfortunately the store owner of the neighbouring coffee shop was unaware of the robbery until the following morning. Though Apple employees had reported the theft, the extent of items taken was only realised the next day.

As per the Lynnwood Police Department, while the owners of the coffee machine store had been in business at the Alderwood Mall for five years, they had never seen anything like this. The tech giant itself has not commented on the burglary. Brookfield Properties, the company that runs the mall, however, has stated that this was an isolated incident.
Maren McKay, the Communications Manager for the LPD, has mentioned that from the masks the robbers were wearing, and from the surveillance footage it looks like it was a well-organised operation, with no fingerprints being left behind.
