1st Annual Assembly Show South: Thousands of Manufacturing Professionals to Gather in Nashville

Thousands of manufacturing specialists from the booming Southeast region are ready to experience the first-ever Annual Assembly Show South next week in Nashville, Tennessee. Set to take place from April 4 to April 6, 2023, the three-day event at the Music City Center will bring together exhibitors offering the latest technology, products, and services. Sponsored by ASSEMBLY Magazine, BNP Media’s trade show and conference is exclusively focused on assembly and promises to be one of the Southeast’s staunchest events.

Organizers of the show expect hundreds of vendors to attend the event and meet with thousands of manufacturing professionals. Attendees will be able to network with vendors, get comprehensive access to new tools and technology, and delve into educational sessions and workshops. The keynote presentation of the show will be delivered by Kenneth Engel, Senior Vice President of Global Supply Chain, North America, at Schneider Electric. His address will focus on supply chain resilience and risk management strategies in the aftermath of recent shortages faced by assembly manufacturers. The show is being supported by the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Tennessee Automotive Manufacturers Association (TAMA), and the Nashville Chamber of Commerce.

To facilitate learning, several workshops and seminars are scheduled as part of the event. Universities of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services, Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) and ASSEMBLY Magazine editorial staff will jointly offer four pre-conference workshops. Topics will range from Lean Journey to I4.0, Reliability in Electronics: Encapsulation Techniques & Low-Pressure Molding to Automated Assembly: Custom Systems, Cobots, Parts Feeding, Industry 4.0 & More. The Learning Theater on the show floor will host various informative sessions on robot precision, automated assembly, and more. Plus, a showcase on the full day collaborative robots technology hosted by the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services is slated for Thursday.

The exhibit hall of the show is sold-out and all set to feature over 150 leading exhibitors, with several Gold, Silver, and Bronze sponsors such as Bosch Rexroth, Promess, Weiss North America, and Tutelar Technologies among many others. Throughout the event, visitors and exhibitors alike can join special networking events such as the Welcome Reception, Networking Reception in the Exhibit Hall and Morning Mingle & Breakfast. Moreover, the event will introduce the best in show product award too.
